What is Paid Search (Pay-per-click)?
Paid search is when a company advertise on search engines or websites with high traffic volumes. Paid search (PPC) is the fastest marketing method enabling you to display a link or advert directly to your website on sites like Google, Yahoo, Facebook and Gumtree to generate effective sales leads. Paid search advertising is also known as Pay-per-click (PPC), where you only pay when site visitors click on your ad.
Why is Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising so effective?Think of it this way; if you sitting in your car waiting at a traffic light and someone hands you a pamphlet, what is the % ratio that you will be interested in the product they advertise? The companies advertising at traffic lights that have expenses, they need to print pamphlets and pay people to hand the pamphlets out. PPC works the other way round. Say you are looking for garden services, you go to Google and search for "Garden Services Cape Town". You are immediately presented with an ad on the right hand side with a title "Garden Services Cape Town, best prices guaranteed". You click on the ad, call the company and off you go. Nobody pushed a pamphlet into your face and you found what you were looking for, when you were looking for it.
How does PPC work?We recommend to use our expert Pay-per-click team to configure and run a marketing campaign on your behalf. Using our team will result in a reduced rate per click and also avoiding irrelevant clicks. We will set your campaign up and monitor it on a regular basis to ensure that you conversation rate goes up. A conversion rate is worked out by the amount of potential clients clicking on your ad, divided by the times your ad gets displayed. At Wobble we strive to reduce the amount you spend on marketing and ensure that your ad meet your objectives.
You have full control because you can decide your own budget limits of how much you want to spend per click, per day or per month. You can target specific areas and languages. You have the ability to track where the traffic came from on your website. In other words, the sky is the limit. You can be as specific as you want to be.
It is good practise to analyse your website and making sure that you have the relevant working landing pages on your website to meet the objective of turning a potential client in a customer. Where to advertise with pay-per-clickSince the advent of AdSense, Yahoo! Publisher Network, Microsoft adCenter, Gumtree, Facebook, Ad-in-Motion and others have been gearing up to make similar offerings. Best practise is to analyse your market and determine exactly where your product will perform best.
